Just because you wear weave doesn’t mean you’re trying to have hair like white women. 1st white women aren’t the only women with straight hair. 2nd of all even white women wear weaves. so, you sound stupid.

Most white women you see on TV, have straight hair weaves. Trust me I live in L.A. Plus white women couldn’t get their hair like a black woman’s if they tried.

Really? White women are not the only ones to have that kind of hair.

Also, you obviously weren’t around during the 1970′s and 1980′s when big poofy, curly hair was all the rage with White women.

I don’t think it’s " I’m an African woman and I want to have my hair done like Caucasian women" .. I don’t think African women want copy or change themselves. It’s just that straight hair is a lot easier to manage than curly hair !! and really EVERYONE wants soft and manageable hair — that saves a lot of time and money

I’m sorry, this question really pisses me off. I have super kinky, curly hair, but am 100% Caucasian. I know black people with naturally straight hair. Asians, Hispanics, Caucasians, and Blacks all have different hair types within their groups. Don’t judge. 90% of black women? And how do you know this? And what if I am a white person with straight hair and I do want curly, kinky, black hair, but I takes too much work to make it that way, so I wear my hair straight? How do you really know? Do you really know anything at all. Step out of your little box, and take a real look at the world around you. You’ll be surprised what you find out.

Sorry Mr. Cobain, you are wrong on all counts. Just because you’ve never seen a white woman with corn rows in this millineum, does not mean it doesn’t happen. I’ve never seen a klansman hang anyone, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I don’t see how anyone with even a little bit of intelligence can equate straight hair to white women. Just because someone is trying to make it easier to style their hair, doesn’t mean they want to be white skinned. And corn rows on a non black woman, does not mean she want to be black.
