There are actually several factors that play into possible hairloss. Health issues, diet/nutrition, certain medications, stress, mechanical damage, and genetic issues.

there are many factors that could lead to hair loss. these include the two that you mentioned and external things like usuing extremly hot water or harsh chemical soaps can also cause hair loss. so it is imperative that a person knows the cause of his hair fall and then rectifies it through remedies.

It really depends what type of hair loss your experiencing. Genetic hairloss is typical male pattern balness that starts with receding hair line or thinning in the top of your head, female hairloss is basically the same except we go very thin not completely bald in most cases. Other hair loss is AA patchy baldness, when lumps of hair come out in round spots that is mostly related with stress. And others are hormonal (pregnancy)or traction. There are several reasons for hairloss and its hard to pin point its exact cause. I have gone through AA for the past yr, and am still going thru it. The only things that helped was going to the derm. for shots in my scalp. They were expensive and very painful. Then a few weeks ago I started taking Shen-min and Biotin and I can really tell a big difference. My hair is even growing back and its thicker and longer! Maybe you should try these vitamins…Hope I helped…
