Hair Loss & Replacement Blog

So I don’t like my hair very much. Blah. I still take care of it with my shampoos, and it’s not that I HATE my hair, it’s just I don’t like how it fits with my look. I’ve tried styling it, having it styled; my hair does not fit my face. I try, but whatever. I’m really into wigs.

Before you comment on me WANTING to wear a wig, it’s not bad if it’s realistic. Also, people wear padded bras? People wear coloured contacts? People do spray-on tans? I’m not wanting to do it for the sake of looking good for others; I’m doing it for ME. I want to look a certain way, that would make me happy. Confidence is good, yes?

So anyways. I don’t care what anyone says, I’m buying one top-quality wig (seriously. Best there is *u* http://cyperous.com/english/index.html) and I’ll stick to it.

I just have one question. And I swear this is the last one, about hair, I promise <333

How do I tell someone it’s a wig? I don’t want to make a joke out of it, though I don’t really care. If they ask, I will flat-out tell them, but how? Should I just say what I said up there? And one more thing. If someone, let’s say an enemy at school, tries to/succeeds in pulling it off. What would you do? Keep calm and make a joke about it? It would be feeding right into them if I got angry, huh?

I lied. One last thing. I want to wear the wig for personal-appearance-confidence only; if I’m doing a sport or something, should I take it off, or treat the wig like real hair and pull it up?

And think about what I wrote earlier, calling someone who wears a wig a fake, tell that to the people who ACTUALLY destroy their bodies, hormonal pills to make their c-ck bigger or getting implants; I’m doing this for me, and that’s all that matters. Everyone else, BLAM, see ya next tuesdays!

It looks so bad on him, almost like it doesn’t belong on his head. It seems like it was surgically implanted, or it’s a wig or something. What’s going on?

I was in a severe auto accident 18 months ago, and have been taking heavy narcotics since that time. I had back surgery almost a year ago, and have had complications from that surgery. I have had no choice but to be on these narcotics, because of the unbearable pain. I have gone through about 10 outpatient procedures since the back surgery. In a couple of days, they are going to surgically implant a pain pump, and I will be taken off most of the narcotics. Even with that, I will be getting morphine through the pump. My hair became very thin, and now I notice my hair is coming out in the shower, in the bed, all the time. I can run my hands through it, and come up with about 20 strands of hair. I used to have beautiful, thick hair and now, I almost have nothing left. Is there anything I can do? I am a woman, so I really don’t want to be bald. I don’t want to resort to wearing a wig, because they look so fake. Any products out there to stop hair from falling out? Help me!

I have been losing my hair for the last 4 years. It is getting really thin. I have had 3 open heart surgeries due to a congenital heart defect and think there may be a connection. I thought about getting a wig bust most of them look so fake. I thought about hair transplant surgery or hair replacement like Hair Club but it is too expensive. Any suggestions.

I’m only 27 and I’m female, and my hair is falling out at an alarming rate. I’m not bald nor do I have any bald spots yet, but it’s thin in front. Are there any natural remedies to help with hair loss. I would rather not take non natural medicines, or have any hair replacement procedures. Please don’t suggest a wig either. I’m sure the loss is due to stress, and I’ve tried to eliminate as much stress as possible, but some things just cant be helped. I also know that it’s normal to lose some hair, but this isn’t. Its everywhere. Even when I vacuum, I’m constantly finding hair, when I wash my hair, large groups of strands come out wrapped around my hands, I get the clothes out of the dryer and my hair is stuck to them. My hair is all over the bed, the cover-everywhere

Ok so I got my "lucious lockes" buzzed off on June 14th and now still… my hair is very very very short How can I make it grow back faster? I am open for pretty much everything except implants, extensions, or a wig.. LoL… but yea any advice? I will award best answer! (O I am a 16 year old teen boy 2, if that makes a difference or not)

im 29 but noticed my receding hair pattern at 26 yrs old. i kno my girlfriends don’t care because they love me but they would rather have a full haired me than a balding me if they could choose and so would i! looks are important. i take pride in my body and wear nice clothes
unfortunately, never met anyone with hair implants and im seriously considering it. this is my first step. maybe do some consultation at the implant center next.but implants cost big bucks!!! i know when i get implants all the other spots will bald eventually and ill have little islands of hair from the implants so i will have to keep getting implants . so it will cost more big bucks! (rogaine sux, if it was so good and worked, there wouldn’t be so many bald men, rite?)

I’ve tried Rogaine and some other stuff, but need a more permanent solution to my hair loss. A Toupee or wig is not an option.

Why a bald man wear hairpiece & a woman wear wig?

I had a decent wig the first time but the hairline in the front didn’t look real. I saw a comment saying the Joseph Paris MHP wig is not worth the money.

Is a high quality wig or shaving the head entirely and going "bald, bold and beautiful" more desirable? I am a fair skined formerly blonde, green eyed, athlete with full lips, little wrinkling, good jaw line- Sad to see my hair blowing off in the wind though- advice from the men? Please?
