Okay, I KNOW that its important for optimum hair health for it to be healthy from inside/root by good nutrition and maybe vitamins AND the length by propper trims, conditioning, an maybe hot oils at all times. What I really want to know is simple: if someone suddenly experienced major hair loss because of stress or a pregnancy (both which are known to cause hair loss) or whatever other reason, would suddenly cutting their length off or deep conditioning it/maintaning it form the outside make any difference since the cause was something so sudden that generally I would imagine it might not matter? My opinion is that if the hair was going to fall off because of major events as I mentioned, it won’t matter if your hair on the outside (which is already dead) is long or short, has split ends or is soft as butter. Does this make sense? I’m only referring to outside treatment not nutrition or vitamin etc.

I have really long hair,but have noticed that my hair line is reseeding .I have added more vitamins,and fish oil to my diet,was wondering if rogain would be right for me.

im vegan, and my hair has been falling out A LOT lately. i think i have a vitamin deficiency. what vitaminss would i be missing for my hair to fall out? and what vegan foods could i eat to get those vitamins?

For the past 2 months or so my hair has been falling out. Each day when I just casually run my fingers through it, I get almost a full handfull of hair that just stays in my hand. I’ve never had this problem before; I don’t dye my hair, I don’t use any damaging hair products and the like, so I can’t figure out what can be causing this. I even changed my shampoo and conditioner and stopped using gel just in case, but that has not helped with the hair loss. I think I eat a pretty balanced diet, I don’t take any medicine, so I’m pretty much at a loss as to why my hair keeps falling out. I don’t take any vitamins, but I’m considering starting to take some in hopes of stopping the hair loss and generating new hair growth. I’m relatively young – in my early 20′s, so I know that it’s nothing attributed to age. Though I have had some stressors for the past few months -but I’m not sure if stress can cause such significant hair loss. I would really appreciate some advice regarding this.

I’m 19 and the doc said I am losing hair. Would eating healthier and excersizing postpone or stop hair loss? I was drinking and smoking quite heavily on weekends, could that have been part of the problem?

And also, are there certain vitamins I should focus on getting in my system to reduce the loss? Are there any longterm products I can take to prevent any future hair loss.

I’m looking for pills that work, Are there any?

I know that’s alot of questions, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
