My hair is thinning, on top, due to age. I would like to do something about this. Do the commercials I see on TV actually work. I can’t find anyone around here who has used any of these processes themselves and even the beauticians I’ve talked to know nothing about them. So, I would like to know if anyone actually had anything done about thinning hair and what was the outcome? I do know of one woman who has a hair piece woven into her hair on top of her head and it looks natural and very nice, but she had a standing weekly appointment at her beauty saloon. I’d like to avoid this if possible.

I have thinning hair, it seems to be getting worse, I need some proven hair restoration products. I’m afro-american, and desperate for a solution. I would like to keep the hair that i do have as healthy as possible. i take hair vitamins.

I’ve had several blood works and hormonal tests and everything has come out normal yet for the past several years I’ve been experiencing excessive hair loss without any replacement growth. I’ve been using Rogaine for almost 2 months now and have seen small baby hairs appearing on my scalp – it’s working! If it’s working, what does this mean? What is my body lacking that Rogaine is able to provide??? Is there anything else that could speed up the process and make my thinning hair better?

I am only 22 and I have thin hair. It seems like it gets thinner and thinner as time goes by! I have a feeling I will need hair implants by the time I’m 30, ugh!

My hubbie is 66 and is very self conscious of his thinning hair. He is not vain in any other area but in this one, it really bothers him.
