I know a lot of you whites will be offended, this is not to offend anyone I just think its very true and I can care less what you all think* lol

A lot of white women now a day try so hard to look black. A friend of mine just got out of surgery. She’s white. She had collagen injections because her lips were extremely grossly thin (like all white girls), she had Buttock augmentation (where they add silicone to her butt), and breast implants (as we all know white women have no breast), and she now leaves her hair dry and full like black women do. She tans constantly (looks orange). In total she looks like a MESS!

My question is: why don’t white women just accept who they are? Yes, white women are flat chested, have the same thin hair, no lips nor color but why do they try so hard to have what black women have? Its obvious it will never be that way even with the surgery. Its genetics. So why try so hard even if it looks …well …FAKE?
For thos who have no idea of the procedure.

White men look gross too but thats a different story.

my friend has a really big bald spot on the top right side of her head .
and she wants to know if there’s anything she can use to make her
hair grow back . she use to have nice , long and thick hear and now
she has really thin hair and she doesn’t have a lot of it . on the bald
spot section it feels really soft like an old person’s head that has lost
all their hair . she use to wear a lot gel and hairspray so i think she
might have fried her roots but if you know any home remedy’s or products
let me know before she takes extreme measures like hair restoration .

While on the topic of hair, I’m really trying to understand African American hair better and why Black women face double standards. I work in a hair salon. White women dye their hair, straighten it, and wear extensions or weave or whatever you want to call it. A lot of white women have frizzy or curly hair naturally and some of them have problems with thin hair and have a hard time growing it. A lot of white celebrities wear weave like Britney Spears, the Kardashians, Meghan McCain, Jess Simpson, Paris Hilton, Barbara Walters, and so on. Hollywood actresses have always used fake hair and extensions (Marilyn Monroe in River of No Return, Elizabeth Taylor in Giant)–others wore them on a regular basis. Also white men wear hair pieces and get hair restoration. I’m just trying to figure out why it’s a double standard, if black women wear weave or change their style. Does it all just come down to racism or people not understanding African American hair? Or do people not realize the changes that white people make to their hair? Please help me understand.
Neither race. And racist comments will be reported, I’m looking for real answers not stupid hateful ones.
I also forgot to add that Brett Michaels wears weave. I like it on him though, I think he’s still kind of cute.
Oh goodness, how could I forget to mention Sarah Palin and her famous weave and wigs?

Hair Loss Follicular Implant Procedure ?
Hair Loss Follicular Implant Procedure ?
What is it, does it hurt? if you tried it are you happy?

advice would be great!

i have very very thin hair!! i mean if i part my hair to put up half way i almost look bald! and i’m getting married in 13 months and would like to have a head full of hair for my wedding! And nothing medical has worked!

I always feel self-conscious because of my extremely thin hair. I can’t even grow it past my shoulders. I am very careful to to pull them out, and I put jojoba oil in it two times per week. If I don’t wash it every other day, then it would look as it’s sticking to my scalp. Nobody in my family has thin hair except for my grandmother and dad.
If my hair’s always been thin, is it even possible to naturally grow it thicker? It seems like nothing’s working. Not even eating healthier food is helping.

Since I want to grow my hair thicker naturally, I do NOT want to dye it, highlight it, put a bunch of hair products to temporary make it look thicker, or get hair implants.
My hair isn’t long enough to braid…
as for the other answer, I’m not sure if I can find those ingredients even at Whole Foods.
Any more suggestions?

3 parts please :)

1. How much is average hair loss per day?
2. How much is average hair growth (not length, but actual follicles coming new out of scalp)?
3. Between the two, more than average hair loss and average hair regrowth, will I be going bald or noticeably thin hair and how quick?

Also, are circumstances different for hair falling out from root or just breaking off along the shaft? Thanks…I have had beautiful thick hair all my life and I don’t want to lose it due to some stupid thermal straightening perm which I now regret.

Hello,

I am 28 years old man. I have been loosing hair for the past 3 years and have been trying various things in the market such as Provillus, Rogaine and etc with little help. I have heard from my aunt to apply aloe vera to hair and it can regrow the hair back or at least stop the hair loss. I bought an aloe vera leaf from an organic store and was planning to crush and apply it every night and wash it off in the morning.

I would like to know if addition of oils such as jojoba, rosemary, tea tree or etc to the aloe vera gel help in combating hair loss? If yes then how much of it should I mix with the aloe vera? Please advice.

P.S :- I have very thin hair with visible bald spots and my hair is oily.

Thanks.

I have always had thin hair and I think I inherited it but now I am losing more and it looks very thin at times. Certain shampoos and conditioners seem to help temporarily hide the problem. I read that there are shampoos with DHT blocker but they are expensive. Also there are various pills you can take. I have also heard about surgical solutions and non-surgical hair replacements. Please let me know what has worked for you in this situation.

Thanks.

I am only 22 and I have thin hair. It seems like it gets thinner and thinner as time goes by! I have a feeling I will need hair implants by the time I’m 30, ugh!
Does anyone know how much the procedure costs or where I could look into to get info on it? Maybe somewhere in the Chicagoland area??
What are some reccomendations for thinning hair? Has anyone heard of those pills called ‘Hair and Nails’?

Is there any women out there that have had hair replacement or have used a hair regrowth system due to thinning or already thinned hair? What did you do? Did it work? Do you have to continuously use it? Men can answer too. I am a 38 year old female who has always had thin hair due to having seizures when I was younger. The tests and the medications caused my hair to thin. I haven’t had a seizure since I was 10 and am no longer on medicine, however, my hair has never regrown. I am very self conscious about it. I want to try new styles and I don’t want to feel like everyone is looking at my scalp ya know? any advice??? and please just real answers or advice. thanks
never considered wigs because I am afraid they won’t stay put as I like to be active. How about hair extentions or weaves?

I was born with very fine, thin hair unfortunately. Now that I’m older it really bothers me.Since I never had thick hair does this mean I was born without hair follicles? I have bald spots and I am very self conscious about my hair. In the near future once i’m out of college I am looking into hair implants or other solutions…can anyone give me any tips or advice on what to do? I have tried many products and different syling techniques and nothing seems to work, i want permanent solutions!

Is it really permanent? I’m really thinking about getting a hair implant. I have super thin hair for a woman. I’m reallllyyyyyy embarrassed to put my hair down.

Has anyone tried the provillus hair treatment? I have gone to multiple customer websites and hair websites and they all claimed that is was by far the best hair treatment out there for thinning/balding men. I am 18 years old and have really thin hair and im starting to lose it. all provillus is, is natural vitamins and a topical treatment of fda aprroved mindoxill. if you have tried it let me know, because i have a feeling this stuff is legit.

But I eat others nurtientions food for the vitamins. Does it effect hair loss? I have very very thin hair and everytime I wash my hair seems like I’m losing a lot? What is the best way to stay helathy hair?
