Any (young) ladies out there perimenopausal or menopausal use testosterone cream? Does it "zip" up your libido? What are the side effects?. Will I grow facial hair.? I already got a couple chin pluckers and don’t really desire a foo man chu. Any info appreciated!!!!!

My doctor…in Augusta, Georgia wrote an article about the benefits of testosterone and estrogen. I have no ovaries because my mother, aunt and grandmother all died from ovarian cancer. I receive replacement hormones usually every 6 months but waited 10 months and unfortunately had every side effect…Heart palpitations, memory loss, sweating, melancholia, dry skin, dry eyes, asthma, lethargy, dizziness and sensitivity to noise, lights as well as a very sensitive parasympathetic system..

My dad has the onset of alzhimers and thought he could use testosterone replacement.

My doctor treats men too and there was a guy there yesterday who said his Testosterone level was at 100 when he started. He began being treated 10 years ago and he says he feels 18 again. He looked great…His skin, hair, eyes and I believe he was in his 50’s. Women lose estrogen as they age but men also lose testosterone as they age.

If you want to know more please contact me through my email.

This is not my doctor, but the article was easier to read.
By the way…I have been on this therapy for 12 years.

Im a 20 year old male with low testosterone. 207, should be in the 500 or 600’s. I look about 14 / 15, it’s caused me to have gynocomastia, no facial hair, etc. I’m wondering what will change when i start the replacement thearapy?

Will I get taller (I’m 5′8), will my voice get deeper, my shlong longer, more hair on my legs, in my pits, on my face? Basically it’s like I’m 1/4th of the way through puberty.

Please any info is helpfull. I’m not taking steroids, my hormones are f**ked because I have a pituitary tumor.

I am a male and have been diagnosed with a problem where my body will not make any testosterone. I have taken replacement shots, and I have gotten a little better (voice a little deeper, got some armpit hair, pubic hair). But it is still low. hen I masturbate all I get is pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum). I am worried that it will never be up to par and will be able to have a child. I am 15 if it helps any.

Thanks,
George.

I would like to know if the androgen replacement therapy will help increasing testosterone level
or it will help for growing facial hair .
And do I take it as pills or what ??
Does it have side effect !
What the different between" Androgen replacement therapy" and "Testosterone pills"

Please help

Is this something my Doctor can help me with. I feel I have low testosterone levels as a male. I’m looking to; Add a more masculine appearance to myself(more body hair growth, deeper voice, muscle, increase sexual libido)
I would appreciate serious replies ONLY. Thanks 4 the help

My ovaries were removed in August and my doc prescribed EstraTest, which contains a bit of testosterone (he said it is natural for a 30yr old to have some). In a few weeks I started sprouting hairs on my chin so I asked for something without male hormone. I have been taking straight estrogen since and have been gaining weight like CRAZY! Could it be the hormones, or am I just pulling the wool over my own eyes?

taking GH,thyroxine,hydocotisone since years.now stopped GH,increased a bit of thyroxine,presently taking testosterone/2 weeks.

I’ve been to the doctor and he says my testosterone levels are normal, but didn’t tell me what they were (apparently, they don’t tell you that)

My father has to have Testosterone replacement therapy. He went to the doctor because all the hair on his legs fell out. So, you can see why I’m worried.

Any ideas?

i was told by my doctor that i have high levels of testosterone. i am also evperiencing some hair loss. i heard that the hair loss can be linked to the hormonal balance, but can the hair loss be treated? if so, how?

some of the guys i work out with take supplements like testosterone boosters from gnc. ive read and heard they can cause hair loss as a side effect. why does this happen? and how could i stop it?

I have been experiencing some extreme hair loss for many months now and I’ve gone to get blood work which has turned out pretty okay (very mild iron dificiency), thyroid is good, so are hormones etc. My hair has aways fallen out easily since I was little and it almost seems that my hair aside from being fine and thin comes off from the roots (scalp). Could it be that there’s a vitamin or mineral dificiency in me? If so, what kind and how can I take care of it? I’m concerned because I’ve never lost so much hair as I have now. I don’t feel like I’m stressed, no trauma so what is it? Haven’t given birth, no surgery etc. I’m actually now going to cut my hair shorter to hopefully help stop the hair loss but how can I make my hair stronger so it doesn’t fall off my scalp so easily?
My doctor just checked the testosterone level and that’s is okay too.

What I mean is will a higher level of testosterone in men make one more likely to have a receding hair line or other hair loss associated with age?
