I have recently just bought Propecia. I was not aware that it would not be safe to continue having sex with my partner while on this drug for the risk of possibly getting pregnant and that child having birth defects.

Within Procerin and Provillus, there is a main ingredient called "Saw Palmetto". My question has to do with either of these products and/or that specific ingredient. Will I run into the same problem regarding birth defects with these products or any product containing Saw Palmetto?? If I take Propecia or any of these supplements, how quickly will the drug be out of my system so that I could procreate without the worry of causing birth defects? All help is greatly appreciated!

I want to use provillus for hair loss and greying of hair. Few questions-
- Can it interact with any medicines (psychiatric) or any supplements ?
- Can I still use a gel with it or not required …Can someone suggest me a good gel ?
- Are scalp irritation etc real side effects and can they lead to something bad?

-Any better product than provillus.

I’m a 42 year old female who has been losing more hair than normal for a couple of years. I’ve been to specialists, had blood/hormone tests done, and tried the laser comb and multiple supplements… nothing seems to make a difference. My doctor says it could be my crappy diet and stress… but no one knows for sure, of course. Regardless – I need something to work! I recently read about Provillus on a couple of websites, and I’m wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with it.

My friends Malamute has hair loss in several spots. Its not red or infected so pretty sure its not Mange. The dog has also been taken off corn type dog food…any kind of natural remedies or vitamin type supplements anyone can advise?

some of the guys i work out with take supplements like testosterone boosters from gnc. ive read and heard they can cause hair loss as a side effect. why does this happen? and how could i stop it?

I’ve been working out since September of last year, but I’ve only really starting working out on a consistent basis (3 times per week) since January. Oddly enough, I find that my hair has thinned out, on the top of my head, considerably over the past five months. I already have a little bit of a receding hairline, but it’s not noticeable at all, but now that my hair around it is thinning out, I’m beginning to look noticeably balding.

I know male pattern baldness is unpreventable, but I find that it’s pretty coincidental that my hair overall is thinning out at the same time as I began to seriously work out.

Exercising DOES increase testerostone (DHT) in your body, but does it ever increase it enough to accelerate hair loss this rapidly? I’m not taking anything (supplements, drugs, medication) at all. I am working out au naturel. Has anyone ever had this experience, or know of anyone who had this happen to them?

Not sure if I should spend the money monthly on this product .My hair is falling out so much .Combined with vitamins supplements and good diet will this product stop hair loss .

I have been suffereing form a bit of hair loss recently, and am thinking about taking extra supplements for it.
