I’m 21 now and im starting to lose hair on the frontal and top part of my head. Its getting really thin and i can see the skin underneath when i look in a mirror under a light. Right now i can cover it alittle with the hair thats there, but i want to at least try a hairloss product now, than wait and lose all my hair. I dont think i can use rogaine cause it says its not for the frontal region. Now about Propecia i heard it works well, does it work on the front and top part of my head or will it only do the crown. I heard u need a presciption to get Propecia. Hair Restoration is also out of the ques. cause i cant afford it right now. Also i have no benefits at my age cause i only work a partime job so no insurance for a doctor.
How much does a visit cost and what type of doctor do you need to see to get Propecia?
Ive seen the side effects.

I already have short hair and shaving it off is outta the question cause the shape of my head and face is oval so it wont look right bald.

So I have been doing a lot of online research and I have wanted implants for years but have been to scared to actually do anything about it and finally…I’m going to get them. I am waiting to schedule my consultation. I have a doctor in mind (I have friends that loved the doctor and the results) but I called this morning and the office is closed until the 3rd due to the holidays so until then I’ll have time to research more. I am thinking I want a general D cup size. I know it is looked at more as CCs instead of cup size but I don’t know how to figure that number out yet. At first I wanted more of a full C cup but I have a gut feeling I will wish I had gone bigger later on. I just want something that looks natural (and I mean natural as in to my body type…I don’t care how "fake" they look as long as they look like part of my body and not like glued on bubbles lol) and a size that compliments my larger hips. I already have really nice boobs just smaller than I would like (I noticed when I look at before and after photos, people with "floppy" or disfigured breast don’t always have the nicest results). So, on to the questions…

Ladies, if this applies and you are comfortable answering, how satisfied were you with your implants? Why did you get them? What "type" did you get?

Everyone, what is your opinion on size or what "type" I should get?
I am 21, 5′7, 155lbs. I’m blonde with short hair now and I’ve lost about 5lbs since but one photo was taken a few months ago when I was out with friends and the other back in June.

(And please, if you are against implants or would like to advise me against getting them just because you dont like them…Don’t waste your time.)
Yeah, the recovery is what scares me the most but I have a pretty high pain tolerance and it’s something I really really want so Im thinking it will be worth it! :)

So I’m black, born and lived in Africa till i was 13. On the issue of hair … when ever I transition from ‘long hair’ [braids] to my own short hair people are perplexed by this. I’m an architecture student at a private predominately white population. So most of my girl-friends don’t understand how my hair works. I have explained and they get the jist of it but most of them tell me i look better with long hair so keep it.

When they say this [to me its the equivalence of] ‘Oh you took your implants out?! Your boobs look so much better with them in.’ I feel so fake wearing braids, i wear them so my hair gets a rest from relaxing it and stuff and during winter because its warmer.

I was wondering how other black girls felt about this? do you ever get sick and tired of explaining how your hair works to your friends of other races and how do you deal with it?
at a predominantly white college…typo

Hey! My hair is Naturally super straight and I got a perm and now its curly. I paid extra for the new ones where it reconstructs your hair molecules & makes it curly! And while I was there I used this deep conditioning type thing (in those big circular jars & a heated cap at the hotel)

Called: Swisson active collagen baked conditioning oil
(the depth of damaged hair conditioning exclusive)
● Capacity: YS504 1000g, YS506 500g
● Effectiveness: INTERCASMO Swiss Center for International Studies, a unique R & D activity of the collagen baked conditioning oil, its unique features of organic seaweed hair restoration empty effective to prevent hair breakage, split ends, add acid to the hair protective film, a long-term release of moisture to the hair , rich in trace elements and minerals, to repair dry, damaged hair.

● Usage: After thoroughly cleaning the hair brush to70%dry, take appropriate baked oil (long 100g, short hair 50g) applied evenly to the hair-chip heating, steam for 15 minutes, 5 minutes after cooling wash can be hair-style.

And I’m trying to find something like this now that I’m back in the U.S. since you cant buy it :( .
Any suggestions?
OH! and yea, I’m also trying to find some sort of spray, or lotiony/ leave in condition thing that makes my hair bouncy( so nothing that turns your hair hard), not frizzy, soft, smooth, and shiny! No mousse though. and please nothing over ish but if its really good and not above list it also!
Any recommendations?

Can a bald man get synthetic hair implants or put on something that is just like really short hair? I mean like so that it just looks like they cut their own hair really low. I know like gluing on short fake hair would never work with your skin, I just thought there might be something out there that is relatively inexpensive that gives this look? I know about hair transplant, not that.

I am an african-american girl with thin, short hair. I get my hair trimmed. But my hair still wont grow or gain thickness! What can i do? Is there any products i can use?

Ok so I’m 17 and no one in my family is bald, but i fear that I am still going bald. I look at old pictures of me when i use to have short hair and i had full thick hair and now I have long hair it seems very thin and when i look in to my scalp i can see it and my hairs are practically counted. What can I do or buy to stop this before it gets even worse?
