So I don’t like my hair very much. Blah. I still take care of it with my shampoos, and it’s not that I HATE my hair, it’s just I don’t like how it fits with my look. I’ve tried styling it, having it styled; my hair does not fit my face. I try, but whatever. I’m really into wigs.

Before you comment on me WANTING to wear a wig, it’s not bad if it’s realistic. Also, people wear padded bras? People wear coloured contacts? People do spray-on tans? I’m not wanting to do it for the sake of looking good for others; I’m doing it for ME. I want to look a certain way, that would make me happy. Confidence is good, yes?

So anyways. I don’t care what anyone says, I’m buying one top-quality wig (seriously. Best there is *u* http://cyperous.com/english/index.html) and I’ll stick to it.

I just have one question. And I swear this is the last one, about hair, I promise <333

How do I tell someone it’s a wig? I don’t want to make a joke out of it, though I don’t really care. If they ask, I will flat-out tell them, but how? Should I just say what I said up there? And one more thing. If someone, let’s say an enemy at school, tries to/succeeds in pulling it off. What would you do? Keep calm and make a joke about it? It would be feeding right into them if I got angry, huh?

I lied. One last thing. I want to wear the wig for personal-appearance-confidence only; if I’m doing a sport or something, should I take it off, or treat the wig like real hair and pull it up?

I am 17 and I have an abnormally small head. I am enslaved to volume shampoos and hair spray to keep my appearance looking normal and my body proportioned. I literally have no head to work with. I can’t even put it into a pony tail, it looks dumb and my hair is too heavy. I have to cut my hair a certain way to keep volume and I’m tired of it. I just want to leave my hair alone without always messing with it. I want to know if there is any cosmetic surgery or special implant that can be placed on my head? Or like a plastic piece that can be put over my skull almost like a helmet. yeah this haunts me all day.

I have had psoriasis on my scape for as long as I can remember. I’m starting to lose my hair becuase of it, and at age 18 thats pretty embarassing. I started using rogaine but I realized that it only worsened my psoriasis and even made my hair fall out more (something its not supposed to do, im certain). I use two shampoos for it, they help for one day, but it usuals comes back the next day. What are some recommendations for long-term relief and hair restoration?

Here’s the sad story. I used to use the shampoo named above, and life was good. I never needed conditioner or anything. But for some stupid reason, Neutrogena discontinued it. I think they were "freshening up their product line", and added a whole bunch of new products, none of which seem to work for me. I tried their "Clean Volumizing" and "Clean Moisturizing" shampoos, and I either get the frizzies or flathead. Looks like I really needed the balance.

So, here’s where you come in. What do people recommend as a replacement? I have shoulder length hair, and live in a pretty humid climate. Obviously, I’m open to other brands at this point.

i use Chrome shampoo and conditioner and it smells ok but there are some really good smelling shampoos out there…unfortunately those arent as good when it comes to repairing the hair…

if i were to use the chrome shampoo rinse it and then use a different one just for the smell would that work? or would it be as if i hadnt used the chrome at all since i used the other one after it?

I am 22 and i’ve started to lose my hair, although its not that much but i’m really concerned about it ‘coz my father is bald, his father was bald too. and now we are four brothers, all are younger than me except for one. I’ve started losing hair pretty quickly in the last 1 month. How can i regrow natural hair? Can i use some kind of Hair Food Suppliments for it? In the last few weeks I searched alot about losing hair on the internet. I found some medicine as well as shampoos but they are rare to find in Pakistan. and am not even sure if they’ll work. ‘Provillus’ was one of those medicines.

Ok so I’m 18 years old and i’ve been losing my hair since i was like 15. I go to College and I play Rhythm guitar and am lead vocalist in my band and i see alot of people. i have never seen anyone my age with as much hairloss as i have. My friends that have seriously asked me if i went on kemo since in less then a year my hairline has jumped a Full Inch and a half from a scar in the middle of my forehead where it used to be.

I realize i will bald early and that will be my life but come on i want to at least make it to 20. Anyway I’ve seen MDs and they just tell me its natural and i was perscribed Propecia when i was 16! Tragically a combo of Rogaine and Propecia did nothing for me and Propecia is far too expensive, 100 bucks a month ooo.

i have a really dry scalp and it itches badly if i try to wear hats, i shed hair like crazy.

I just want some help. i want a plan of action i dunno something. i have never been carded for cigarettes even when i was 16 or anywhere else (including clubs and bars) girls always think im older then i am which isnt always bad but when i tell people im 18 theyre shocked.

i want to cling to my hair for a few more years please if anyone knows anything let me know.

Ive been using the Shampoo Nyzoral for months with no help with the scalp dryness so ive been rubbing olive oil on my head the past few nights. also ive tried Nioxin shampoos of all strength, lots of vitamins and this hair stuff called provillus that was bogus and a few other things.

if you read all this at all i really appreciate it. this is like a semi rant.

What can you do when you are having an issue about hair loss? Any treatments, shampoos, vitamins,etc.

I’ve been using shampoos that are quite creamy to give moisture to your hair for a few months now. Then I realize that I’ve been having a sticky residue of the shampoo stuck on my hair that takes ages to wash off. And now, its causing hair loss and hence some baldness on my head. How do I solve this??

Also, are there any proven natural remedies to control or rid of this condition? Any harm in using those tar shampoos over a long period of time? I am hesistant to do anything which will cause hair loss and am scared if I don’t that the seborrheic dermatitis will itself cause hair loss. I also have it on face now Any sufferers know how to control this?

I am a young guy experiencing thinning hair and a receding hairline. I was wondering if the special shampoos for sale at salons for people with this problem are effective or just a gimmick.
I am just wondering if they could slow the hair loss not necessarily grow new hair back

what is a good way to prevent men hair loss? im 18 and i don’t want to end up bold. now i have less hair then when i was 15, well that’s in my forehead, but my dad is going bold, and i don’t want that. so what would you recommend,
like shampoos or something like that

I’m looking for a good shampoo that will make my hair more voluminous and thicken the hairs that are in my head already. I’m not looking for any shampoos that contain hair-loss inhibiting or hair regrowth drugs… just something that will make the hair thicker and stronger.

Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks for the tips, Miissa. However, everything I’ve seen says that henna will also color your hair. I don’t want this.
