When I was born I had a birthmark on my right eyebrow & had a procedure done to remove it when I was about 3 years old. Now I have a scar (which is hardly visible because my bangs cover it) but when I play volleyball I want to be able to pull my hair back but I can’t because of the scar. I am pretty sure that the section of my eyebrow that had the birthmark going through it does not have pores, because there is no hair growing there, & I can’t see any pores. Is there anyway to make my eyebrows look symmetrical, such as eyebrow transplants/makeup/hair implants?

I spent 30 minutes composing my answer to that question, which the lady deleted sometime between the time I started typing and the time I clicked "Submit". Here’s my opinion. What do you all think?

===================

Love is never wrong, but some loves are more difficult than others. (I should amend that; mutual love between freely consenting adults is never wrong.)

Your best odds for a long untroubled marriage, statistically, are with some one of the same race, religion, ethnicity, socio-economic background and upbringing. Dull, but untroubled.

People who always squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom and roll the tube up neatly should never marry someone who squeezes it from the middle and loses the cap three times out of ten.

People who don’t mind "ketchup scabs" around the mouth of the bottle shouldn’t marry people who do.

People who make their bed every morning, fold their socks and iron their jeans should not marry someone who, when he looks up from his recliner to see the cat poop in the rug instead of the litter box, says "Gosh, I’ll have to clean that up tomorrow morning, or maybe tomorrow night, when it has had a chance to dry", then goes back to his bourbon and detective novel. (I am just making these up out of my imagination, and if I wear my hair long on that side, the scar where my wife threw the iron doesn’t show.)

The first question you should ask yourself is "Am I attracted to him/her because of personal traits, such as honesty, courage, manners, views on saving the whales . . ., or because he/she is a [Dane / Zulu / Eskimo / Mexican / Jew / African-American / Chinese . . .].

It also depends on where you live. Marrying someone of another ethnicity in Alabama in 1950 would make your life a living hell. Doing so in Hawaii in 2009 is almost the norm. Anglo-Hispanic matches are so common in California that no one notices any more.

Everything you do will affect your kids, one way or the other. How you teach them to cope with life is one of the trials of parenthood.

In some ways, life is like a hike. You get a sack of rocks you have to carry with you. Some people figure out ways to throw away some of those rocks, some pick up more along the way. Marrying someone outside of your race, religion, ethnicity, socio-economic background or upbringing is a pretty big rock to pick up.

"Upbringing" comes in because you learn to be a parent from your parents. If yours insisted on impeccable table manners, going to church every Sunday, limited TV watching and spending Saturdays together, you will probably want that for your children too. You’d be unhappy with someone who chews with his mouth open, thinks eating dinner in front of the TV is fine if there is a good movie on, skips church when the weather is nice and wants to spend Saturday working on his buddy’s 1957 Thunderbird restoration project.

Nothing useful – Small world! I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sarawak. Ask your wife "Apah Khabar, suda mundai?" and apologize to her for my spelling. It should mean "Good day – Have you had your bath?", a polite greeting among the Malays I knew.

Whoops! One’s skills get rusty.
"Salamet mata hari" is "Good day". "Apah kabar" is "How is it going?"

My circumcision scar is pretty close to the base of my penis (atleast I have most of my inner foreskin! ;D lol), and after the scar it pretty much immediately becomes hair. So i am assuming i was cut "high and tight." My whole penis seems to be inner foreskin and not really any visible darker shaft skin. When I get an erection some pubic hair and scrotum gets pulled along with it somewhat. If I start tugging opposite ways on my inner foreskin will that allow my scrotum hair to recede if anything? And maybe am I able to do foreskin restoration?

I’m 18. And please no hurtful comments on circumcision. It can really depress and hurt people that were circumcised. I can still live an amazing sex life like millions of other circumcised men with the woman of my dreams. But I would like to pursue foreskin restoration. Thank you all ;)

Hello, I had surgery on my upper lip some time ago and now i dont have any moustache growing on my scar there, it looks strange to me, and the scar is almost right under nose. Are there any way to get moustache back growing? Maybe there are some hair implants or some other method?

Thanks

Hi guys,

I’m thinking about getting a hair transplant since the hair is significantly thinning on the top of my head but I have been reading SO many nightmares about it that either: 1) the hair plugs were bad that it looked like prickly acne on the scalp and/or 2) the scar on the back of the head is so bad it looks like butcher work

Take a look at this website: http://mysite.verizon.net/dschrode/newtransplant-tales.htm
These horror stories show that. I’ve heard that Bosley is REALLY BAD too! All you have to do is search "Bosley nightmares" on a search engine and you have numerous stories!

One website claims to look for the following: http://www.americanhairloss.org/surgical_hair_restoration/finding_a_surgeon.asp

Did any of you guys have hair transplants? What were you experiences in finding a great hair transplant surgeon? Do you have any scars from the hair transplants? If any of you are from the Detroit area, do you know which hair transplant surgeons are REALLY good?

Sorry guys, its just SOOO exhausting trying to find a dependable, and decent doctor…
Thanks for all of the help!

A scar which was made from hair implants!

Hi! I have scar only in the eyebrow and that spot dosn’t have hair! I want to know if you can put like fake hair in there somehow? If you know how please tell me!

Ok so I’m 18 years old and i’ve been losing my hair since i was like 15. I go to College and I play Rhythm guitar and am lead vocalist in my band and i see alot of people. i have never seen anyone my age with as much hairloss as i have. My friends that have seriously asked me if i went on kemo since in less then a year my hairline has jumped a Full Inch and a half from a scar in the middle of my forehead where it used to be.

I realize i will bald early and that will be my life but come on i want to at least make it to 20. Anyway I’ve seen MDs and they just tell me its natural and i was perscribed Propecia when i was 16! Tragically a combo of Rogaine and Propecia did nothing for me and Propecia is far too expensive, 100 bucks a month ooo.

i have a really dry scalp and it itches badly if i try to wear hats, i shed hair like crazy.

I just want some help. i want a plan of action i dunno something. i have never been carded for cigarettes even when i was 16 or anywhere else (including clubs and bars) girls always think im older then i am which isnt always bad but when i tell people im 18 theyre shocked.

i want to cling to my hair for a few more years please if anyone knows anything let me know.

These photos are quite flattering for some reason the combo of crappy webcam and low light makes it look like i have very full hair.

Ive been using the Shampoo Nyzoral for months with no help with the scalp dryness so ive been rubbing olive oil on my head the past few nights. also ive tried Nioxin shampoos of all strength, lots of vitamins and this hair stuff called provillus that was bogus and a few other things.

if you read all this at all i really appreciate it. this is like a semi rant.
