i’m not bald yet, but my girlfriend says she wouldn’t date a bald guy. i had learned to deal with the fact that i was going bald but to learn that there was somebody that shallow just makes me sick. there are a lot of things that you can control but going bald is only one that you can try to cover up for so long. i’ve used rogaine for 2 or 3 years now, i’m not getting doll hair implants. i want to know how she would feel if she were in my shoes. her words "you CAN do something about going bald, there’s got to be something you love about yourself. like with me, i love my hair. what do you love about yourself?". my answer was ‘my mind’, because i’ll always be smarter than you, hair or no hair.

hey guys! so i use to have the thickest eyebrows and use to pluck them when i was in highschool and uni… now theyr very thin and the rest of the hairs havent grown out in years.. anyway i have them tatoo’d and they look good but i still want them thicker.. and i realized i dont wanna keep tattooing them forever.

has anyone here ever had an eyebrow transplant/restoration??? or know anyone that has?? i’m really considering doing it but there’s not much information out there and i’d love to hear from someone.. OR do you have any other suggestions, that have actually worked??

thanks sooooo much!! xx
thanks SO much lola lila!!! it’s the most annoying thing to have your eyebrows thinned out! realllyy appreciate your advice… im gonna go get some men’s rogaine now!! i hope it works… how long did it take for your daughter to see a difference in eye brow growth?

when an amputee asked God for a new limb, but God refused that person? For those who may not be aware, a typical argument given by Athiests is that God doesn’t exist because He has never given an amputee a new limb. Why do they use such an example rather than a less flammatory one such as God doesn’t give bald guys a new head of hair? Because God does. He revealed Rogaine and hair implants to bald guys. God is good.

Yet, even with the inflammatory example using the tragedy of people who have lost limbs, are athiests able to give an example where God refused the request of a new limb by a person?

I am 34. I have never had a girlfriend. I am still a virgin. I am downright ugly. I have a big nose, a skinny face, and a long neck. But I am also balding. I am PETRIFIED that women will not ever like me once I go bald. I am scared that I will be alone for the rest of my life. I don’t want to try hair replacement. I have tried Rogaine, but I gave it up since it wasn’t working for me. I am very scared and depressed about this.

My husband is very sensitive to losing his hair. It’s been going on for years and he’s tried the hair club, rogaine and propecia without results.
He just received a severance package and would like to try hair restoration (surgery). This is something he’s always wanted and now that he has the money he’s going for it. I’m trying to be supportive but, really I don’t feel that this is the time since he is out of work. The procedure will cost approx 10K. I’m worried about savings since he is out of work. We have some but, not much. He wants it so bad he is taking 10K out of his 401K when he rolls it over to the IRA to replace the severance we now have in savings. I’ve mentioned this to a few female friends and they bashed him for being irresponsible and selfish. I’d like to get some guy opinions. I’d like to add that we have debt too that this severance should be applied to.
I told him that I fell in love with him balding, I will love him no matter what.
His brother shaved his head when I suggested he do that he freaked. Like I said very sensitive. He’s 42.

I’m 21 now and im starting to lose hair on the frontal and top part of my head. Its getting really thin and i can see the skin underneath when i look in a mirror under a light. Right now i can cover it alittle with the hair thats there, but i want to at least try a hairloss product now, than wait and lose all my hair. I dont think i can use rogaine cause it says its not for the frontal region. Now about Propecia i heard it works well, does it work on the front and top part of my head or will it only do the crown. I heard u need a presciption to get Propecia. Hair Restoration is also out of the ques. cause i cant afford it right now. Also i have no benefits at my age cause i only work a partime job so no insurance for a doctor.
How much does a visit cost and what type of doctor do you need to see to get Propecia?
Ive seen the side effects.

I already have short hair and shaving it off is outta the question cause the shape of my head and face is oval so it wont look right bald.

Ok im 18 and i noticed it was receding like 1 -2 years ago and it is really frustrating. I think im at an age where i should be worrying about other things and not my stupid hair. I use rogaine but i dont think it works (much). And the men on my moms side are not bald my dad on the other hand is, but funny thing is we have the same hair line, but he is 40 years older than me. I hate it!
What do you guys think i should do? Should i save up money for a transplant? i already talked to a dr. fom (medical hair restoration) and he said it would cost like 5 thousand for 800-1000 hairs.
Bald? <— ive never liked it.

of hair ? If not rogaine, are there any other hair replacements or treatments that work ?????

I’m only 18 and i already have power alleys going almost halfway across the top of my head. I’ve been looking into hair restoration. At first i was considering that Rogaine foam, but then i heard it was bull… Then i thought, maybe that Bosley treatment thing would work, but i don’t know if it will also stop me from losing any more hair, or just restore what I’ve already lost (only to have me lose that hair again). I have long hair, so this is kind of annoying.

Anyways, what i want to know is this: Is there a hair restoration treatment that will restore hair that I’ve lost AND keep me from losing any more hair?
Oh yeah, and I’m half Hungarian, and i have heard that Hungarians go bald quickly

I have had psoriasis on my scape for as long as I can remember. I’m starting to lose my hair becuase of it, and at age 18 thats pretty embarassing. I started using rogaine but I realized that it only worsened my psoriasis and even made my hair fall out more (something its not supposed to do, im certain). I use two shampoos for it, they help for one day, but it usuals comes back the next day. What are some recommendations for long-term relief and hair restoration?

Several years ago I used to overpluck my eyebrows, and now because of doing it for so long the hair has grown in sparesly in some areas.

They have been this way for a very long time, so I know the hair will NOT grow back.

I know that Bosley has Eyebrow Restoration, but I’m looking for something less expensive. I’ve been told of many solutions, like Rogaine, castor oil, almond oil, pricey topical solutions, etc…

I would rather not waste time and money on home remedies and "miracle regrowth" products that do not work.

Has anyone in my type of situation been successful in finding something that *actually* works? Only looking from answers from those who have. Thanks!
I started overplucking in ninth grade as well, and I am now 26 and nothing has grown back =\ I don’t want to use pencils to stencil in or powder to fill in. I want the real thing.
I haven’t plucked where they are sparse in years, and as I had mentioned above it’s been a very long time, so I know they aren’t going to grow back.
I just want real hair…not tattoos or penciled lines or powders. =\

My friend, currently a big oil exec. at Exxon Mobil is starting to go bald, and he needs some help keeping his good looks together. He is only 28 years old, but already he is starting to go bald, and his girlfriend is threatening to leave him if he doesn’t do something to keep his chic and professional image. He tried Rogaine and is not a good candidate for hair replacement surgery. What can my good friend do with his existing hair in order to maintain the manly flat-top type style that gave him his job and made his girlfriend fall in love with him? Can he grow a beard and use that to produce such a combover? And please, no Donald Trump styles, no toupees (they irritate his sensitive scalp, and please no insults. This is no joke. His relationship with the one he loves is in jeopardy, and he has children on the way in several months. My friend is desperate for your suggestions if he is to retain his position and sanity.

I have been taking Rogaine for the last 6 years but it seems to have stop working for me. I am currently trying all the Nioxin products from the vitamins to the follicule booster. I having been really depressed the past few months because my hair loss and I need some feedback on others who have expierenced the same thing. I have been told from a hair restoration specialist that the best option for me is to start taking Propecia (which I’m afraid of the side effects), and start a laser treatment twice a week for 6 months. What other alternatives should I try?

My boyfriend is only 23 years old and he is losing his hair pretty quickly. He started using rogaine, but it is hardly doing the trick. He is getting very self conscious about it and I believe it is really having an affect on him, emotionally. He won’t admit it, but it stresses him out deeply. We looked into the Bosley Hair Restoration treatment, but it is pretty expensive and we can’t quite afford the payments. I would love to figure out something to help him out and I am just wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives?

1. Rogaine hair (replacement) treatment
2. Dove chocolates
3. Tide laundry detergent
4. LL Bean products
5. Craftsman or Stanley tools
6. Fruit of the Loom (under)garments
7. Nike or Reebok shoes
8. Nyquil medicine
9. Panasonic electronic products
10. Sara Lee foods
More than one answer is cool…=)

thanx~
Happy Holidays~

Im in my mid 20s and already losing my hair.. I have tried Rogaine and haven’t worked. I dont want implants because it just add another hair to root. I need new roots and hair… Any suggestion?

Someone told him there is little you can do to keep your hair if you are on your way to
baldness. He has looked into a couple things but will not go through hair restoration
in the way of having his scalp sliced and hair implanted. Some say Rogaine will not
work. There are many bald men including actors and superstars which makes him
think there is really no cure for baldness since these individuals can well afford to
have hair restored if they chose to. Luckily he is a rather good looking guy with
beautiful eyes. I told him it doesn’t matter, but of course he says it does at this
age. Are there any bald men out there in the age group 20-40 that can give him
any advice? He’s getting pretty down about this as every day he seems to lose
more hair.
My grandfather was bald. At what age it happened, I don’t know. That would be his great-grandfather. Also one
of his grandfather’s has very little hair on top.

my father is bold, and from 1 year i’ve started suffering hair loss, i’ve used ROGAINE.but after 6 months my hair started to fall much more than before and those treatment never helped after that.
do u think i have to use pills treatment or what?
their is any possibility to regain my hair again without hair implant procedures???
i’m soo depressed right now please HELP

Hey all. I’m nineteen years old and I have male-pattern baldness. The crown of my head is slowly losing hair, and I have a visible "bald patch." I’m not too fond of the surgical methods, because they leave scars and seem to be a hassle. I’ve tried stuff like Nioxin and Rogaine, but it’s smelly and seems to do little. I’ve heard Hair Club for men are a bunch of scamming liars, so I’m avoiding them. Thanks in advance!
Any wigs or hairpieces anyone would recommend?

Are there any side effects to this procedure? Currently I am using Rogaine for the past 6-8 months and I see some improvement. Are there any good doctors in this area? Please advise.

I’ve had several blood works and hormonal tests and everything has come out normal yet for the past several years I’ve been experiencing excessive hair loss without any replacement growth. I’ve been using Rogaine for almost 2 months now and have seen small baby hairs appearing on my scalp – it’s working! If it’s working, what does this mean? What is my body lacking that Rogaine is able to provide??? Is there anything else that could speed up the process and make my thinning hair better?

Hello,

I am 28 years old man. I have been loosing hair for the past 3 years and have been trying various things in the market such as Provillus, Rogaine and etc with little help. I have heard from my aunt to apply aloe vera to hair and it can regrow the hair back or at least stop the hair loss. I bought an aloe vera leaf from an organic store and was planning to crush and apply it every night and wash it off in the morning.

I would like to know if addition of oils such as jojoba, rosemary, tea tree or etc to the aloe vera gel help in combating hair loss? If yes then how much of it should I mix with the aloe vera? Please advice.

P.S :- I have very thin hair with visible bald spots and my hair is oily.

Thanks.

I’m balding. =( Does anybody know of something that can stop it? Does hair transplants really work? What about propecia and rogaine? Or Provillus and Advecia? Help!!!

For a couple hours now, I’ve been surfing the web, looking for a suitable product to purchase for my boyfriend. He’s in his early 20’s, and his hair is thinning/balding. It’s hereditary. He wants to find something to help, and I’m looking for the right product for him.
I started off with researching Rogaine, but I’m hearing about some nasty side effects, and plus, it’s a life-long commitment. Then I came across Propecia, and there’s no way in hell I’m letting him use that stuff, considering that it can have sexual side effects. It’s just not worth it.
I saw another product, called Provillus, and it seemed to be good. But it’s not FDA approved, and it’s also pills, not cream, and I don’t know how I feel about him taking something orally. It makes me nervous.
Lastly, I looked up Shampoo’s, to see if I could find any luck there. I found Nioxin. Once again, it seems ok, and I don’t see any side effects. But it’s so hard to trust these products.
Ergo, I figured that I’d ask actual people if they have any suggestions, or if they could share their stories and what worked for them. Tell me anything that worked for you, and any side effects it had. Whether it be cream, pills, shampoo, etc. I’d really, really appreciate it.
