My dad is bald and everyone in my moms family has hair. I want to know if there is a way to prevent/slow down hair loss. It probably is impossible to stop it and if it is then I will have to deal with it. I am 16 and I am losing hair on my sides. I use dandruff shampoo, which I heard worsens it. If it is impossible then are the hair restoration surgeries real? How does it work? How much does it cost? Will it be like the hair you had before? Is there a risk? Please do not post answers from a product you heard on a website. If you are going to post a product, put one that you have tried or one that you can prove with actual facts. Thanks

I used to use a hair gel by Loreal Studio Line called "Grab" gel, but Loreal discontinued it recently and I am about to run out of my last bottle.

It is the best hairgel in the world for my hair. I am running a serious risk of looking like a hair disaster for the rest of my life if I do not find a good replacement. Does anyone have a suggestion? Please only reply if you have used Grab, as I am looking for something similar.

I have recently just bought Propecia. I was not aware that it would not be safe to continue having sex with my partner while on this drug for the risk of possibly getting pregnant and that child having birth defects.

Within Procerin and Provillus, there is a main ingredient called "Saw Palmetto". My question has to do with either of these products and/or that specific ingredient. Will I run into the same problem regarding birth defects with these products or any product containing Saw Palmetto?? If I take Propecia or any of these supplements, how quickly will the drug be out of my system so that I could procreate without the worry of causing birth defects? All help is greatly appreciated!

This is a quote from a site "Excessive body hair for men indicates a greater chance of premature hair loss; 50% greater risk if a man has complete chest hair; 70% greater risk is a man has chest, shoulder and back hair; and 90% greater risk if a man has total body hair." I can’t seem to find the reason why I am becoming bald at 20. I dont’ think its a genetic or a diet prob. I am not stressed either. However I have quite a lot of hair on my arms, back and around waist area for an asian. Just wondering if that is why I am losing my hair.
