My friend kept touching my hair saying how beautifully dark it was, i replied thankyou.
As she went and got mayo from the kitchen, i noticed their was a butt implant brochure in her bag.
And a lip injectant needle!

She came back and looked at the things in my hands, she said how ugly and devil-mutant like she was.She wanted a bootylicous body and a dark head of hair.Has she seen the light?
Finally has she gone away from her devil-like ways?

when an amputee asked God for a new limb, but God refused that person? For those who may not be aware, a typical argument given by Athiests is that God doesn’t exist because He has never given an amputee a new limb. Why do they use such an example rather than a less flammatory one such as God doesn’t give bald guys a new head of hair? Because God does. He revealed Rogaine and hair implants to bald guys. God is good.

Yet, even with the inflammatory example using the tragedy of people who have lost limbs, are athiests able to give an example where God refused the request of a new limb by a person?

Okay in July I colored my hair blond did it myself. And it looked horrible! I went into a salon and had a color correction done. Ever since then my hair has been breaking off. Not HUGE clumps. You can’t look at my head of hair and notice any bald spots or anything. I went to the beauty salon about 2 weeks ago now and got about 2inches cut off the length and got tons of layers in my hair. The Stylist said my hair wasn’t damaged. (I was going to chop it off to my chin) She said keeping my hair up in a tight ponytail (which I do) is probably the problem. Which I know isn’t 100% true in my situation b/c my hair has only started breaking off this bad since my color incident. I bought some Pantene Restoration (i think is the name) shampoo/conditioner and hair mask. And gave myself a couple deep condition treatments. My hair still breaks off maybe not as much. Okay…I noticed today that my hair is just still coming out a lot!!! Not from the root or anything. I hot rolled my hair 2 days ago and all day yesterday had my hair up on my head in like a ball just to keep it out of my way. I think using all the hair spray and keeping it in a wad on my head caused the extra breakage..I know stupid on my behalf. What should I do?? Should I cut it all off to about my chin?? Is there anyway to keep my long locs and restore the health to my hair????
Any advice would be beneficial.

Btw…my hair length hits the bottom of my bra strap. And I have short to med. layers throughout hair
One more question. Has anyone had their hair over processed like mine and their hair break off this much? Like I said it’s not clumps of hair..but enough to drive me crazy! Thanks!!!

i’m 27 years old and although I have a full head of hair , it is definitely not as thick as it used to be when I was a teenager. And this is referring to my entire head. It’s been like this for a few years as my entire hair has gone from thick texture to medium texture. Although it’s still dense and there’s a lot of hair, my hair is oily and it can easily clump together and show scalp lines at some areas of my head (mainly the sides and from the top)…much like if my hair was parted.
There’s a slight recession on my head but my hair restoration doctor said it’s not bad enough to do something about it and it’s been stable over the year with no real change.

Could this overall thinning from thick to medium be due to age? I’m only 27 so is this something people go through? My whole entire hair has gone through texture change not just certain spots but I still have a full head of hair

I went to see a hair restoration doc one time who used a densitometer to measure the density of my hairs and assured me that I exhibited very early signs of hair thinning and some loss. He put me on propecia but the question is…the derm/trichologist/physians that I have seen have never heard of densitometry, one derm knew but he told me that it is only an art and is not to be completely trusted. He assured me that we all lose hair density as we grow older and just because we lose some hair density and some miniaturization but it does not mean we should take propecia especially since he thought my hair density was normal and I had a full head of thick hair still. He felt I should take it when I exhibit observable loss. It seems these derms don’t really buy into the art of hair densitometry. Have you ever heard of this densitometer/densitometry? Would you trust it or should I just follow the derm’s advice. I’m 26 and I still have a full head of hair just a little thin on the sides
btw…both my grandfathers (mom/dad’s side) had hair…my father thinned and had hair loss starting at age 46, his little brother went bald before his 20’s.

i hear there are creams, even pills to take ,
for male hair restoration.

don’t know where to start.

a full head of hair means a lot to a guy.
i don’t want a chrome dome.
any links would be appreciated
please don’t say minoxodil!
any had experience with procede?

My husband had his hormones tested on 3/31/10 by blood test. Here are the results: (No hair loss at this point, full thick head of hair, no male pattern baldness in family, no history of hair problems)
testosterone, serum – 163 (low)
testosterone % – 29 (normal)
testost, F+W – 47.3 (normal)

TSH .461

Estradiol, Sensitive – 10 (normal)
DHEA sulfate – 19.4 (Low)
Progesterone – less than 0.1 (Low)
Cortisol – PM – 2.6 (normal)
Vit. D – 21.1 (Low)
PSA – .7

On 4/4/10 he went to the emergency room with symptoms of H1N1 and was told he had bronchitis, so the next week he stayed in bed and by 4/10/10 he was in critical condition and on a ventalator for 12 days almost dying. In the hosptial the doctors gave him lots of different antibotics, but refused to give him the Tamaflu until the CDC called to confirm his diagnosis of H1N1, then he began to improve.

When he got out of the hospital, the APN who did his bloodwork for HRT Therapy said his hormones were at extremely low dosages and that he needed to come in right away for treatment.

She knew of this condition with H1N1 and started him with 1 shot of 250 cc of testosterone cynpionate and 7 days later put him on a testosterone cream dosage of 100 mg per day. He took this dosage for approximately 3 weeks and then began to get a few pimples so he reduced his cream dosage to 75 mg for the next two weeks. He went back to the APN for follow up blood work and at this time had no problems with the therapy or major side effects. At the office visit, she gave him another 200 cc of testosterone cynpionate – he continued with the 75 mg daily dosage of the testostone cream. About 12 days after this his hair began falling out or thinning rapidly at the sides of his head. He called the APN and asked for help, but she refused to call him back. He continued with the daily dosage of 75 mg of testostone cream for another week at which time he just stopped the cream completely. Two weeks later he went for repeat blood work, here are the results: (At this point, his hair is very thin at sides of head and back of head, but not the crown or top)

On 7/2/10 the blood results are as follows:

Comp. Metabolic Panel – all in normal range except glucose 115(high)

Testosterone, serum – 139 (Low)
Testosterone % – 20.5
Testosterone F+W – 28.5 (Low)
Dihydrotestosterone – 18
TSH – .916
T4, Free, Direct – 1.07
Estradiol, Sensitive – 16
DHEA sulfate – 15.4 (Low)
Calcium, Ionized, serum – 4.8
Triodothyronine, free, serum – 2.8
Vit. D – 29.7

Today, my husbands hair is still falling out, more thinning at sides, back, top and now starting to thin at the crown.

He has been to see an Internist, Dermatologist, asked the APN who gave him the hormones and nobody wants to comment on what is causing his hairloss.

Please only individuals with specific knowledge about this topic provide him with any information you may have.

I would like to know if the amount of testosterone that he was given is a high amount? If this would cause hair loss? Will it grow back? When will it stop falling out? Could he have another problem?

I’m just wondering if hair transplant surgery can restore the appearance of a full head of hair to someone who was completely bald on top. I have heard that even with a good amount of donor hair available in the back, hair restoration surgery still cannot restore a full head of hair and the scalp would still be visible.

genetic hairloss runs in my father’s side of the family (father/uncle) so I decided to seek a hair restoration surgeon to check the health of my hair. Aside from a small recession in the front, I still have a full head of hair, however, this doctor used some microscope to check my scalp and it showed some of the hairs were miniaturizing. He prescribed some drug called finasturide 5mg and said it was probably genetic loss since I told him it ran in my dad’s family. I look in the mirror and I still have a full head of hair, so I don’t think I buy into what this doctor says. My dermatologist says as we age, we all miniaturize, it is just part of getting older and if I don’t show any visible signs I should be ok. I don’t think I’m going to take this medication for life per that hair surgeon’s advice just because I have a full of head of hair right now. What do you think?

Recently, I’ve been curious about hair loss, for a couple of years I’ve had a very tiny recession but still have a full head of hair throughout. I went to see this hair restoration doctor in NYC, well-known in the field and provided free consultation but I felt rushed through it, he put some device called the densitometer on me, a device that none of the dermatologists or other hair specialists knew about and said that I exhibited very early signs of genetic hair loss.I told him my father started losing hair and thinning at 46 (56 now) so he immediately prescribed Propecia, he rushed me through the whole consultation and I didnt really get my questions answered well (a lot of I dunno). The whole experience made me unsure whether if I should trust him and spend the /mo on Propecia for life if right now I have a full head of hair.I saw a derm and a trichologist and he thought it’s not serious at the moment but if i start to exhibit signs then take it or take it to protect it.
I told the hair doc what my derm/trichologist thought…he got angry and told me to go back to see him, he thought maybe he did rush me through and he’d like to do this thoroughly this time around. The fact he wasn’t like this the first time doesn’t make me want to trust him. What do you think?

How come people keep saying that Bret wears a bandana because he doesn’t want to show his bald spots? In the episode of Rock Of Love 2, when the parents came to visit his bandana was off and he had a sexy, full head of hair. Did he say he was balding in the 1st ROL (I didn’t watch it)? Because he sure doesn"t look like he is to me…

I always felt sorry that Chavo was losing his hair so young, but then he semi-retired for awhile and "Bam" he’s got a great looking head of hair, and trust me is was not Rogaine

I’ve been wearing a pony tail for 10 years now, and I’m worried that my hairline may be receding and the top maybe thinning out. (I don’t think it’s natural because every man on both sides of my family has died with a full head of hair). Should I cut my hair to save it?
