Could there be other reasosns why your hairline can be receding and hair getting thin other then male pattern baldness. I have this problem and there is nobody in my family that bald or have thining hair. Is there any products that can really help. I was told I sould use provillus since I don’t have a balding gene. If theres anything that can help, please let me know

My hair is thinning and my hairline is receding a little and I was told by a friend to try provillus. I really don’t even know why its thinning for because there nobody in my family that’s bald. But mine is thinning for some reason so I looked provillus up on the internet and I see a lot of good reviews on them but I also see some bad reviews saying that it didn’t work for them. So does anybody know if that works or not and if u know any other products that do work, please let me know. Also if u know y my hair can be thinning please let me know also

I have always had a very large forehead…and Im not the only one who thinks it. I have gotten teased growing up by many people and got a lot of comments on the "largeness" of my forehead throughout my whole life. Ive been wearing bangs my entire life and Im DONE with it!

I want to find some sort of surgery to reduce it. I dont just want to hide it with bangs for the rest of my life. Bangs only help sometimes. What about when I go swimming/to the beach? Bangs dont work. I hate going to the hairdressers. I hate windy days. I hate when my head sweats and my bangs become wet. I hate walking out of the shower and having someone see me with my hair wet or my hair off my forehead. This isnt a problem that will just go away………………and NO, I WILL NOT EMBRACE MY LARGE FOREHEAD!! Im looking to find a way to actually reduce the size (like by lowering my hairline or getting hair implants or something).

Please let me know if you have any ideas or info on where I can get something like this done. Thanks.

as far as I know, marilyn monroe was basically manufacted head to toe, she had chin implants, a nose job, dyed her hair platinum blonde, changed her hairline, possibly an eyebrow lift. but regardless she was still gorgeous <3 idk about audrey though

I am 31, have a lot of hair, no history of baldness.
My front hairline is intact, there is just his quarter size bald patch I never noticed before (about a half inch past my front hairline, at my part). No other signs of thinning. is this the begining of me going bald? How do i stave it off? is there a product I could use. How expen$ive would it be to have an implant in that area? I have longish (and a lot of it) hair, so you can’t really see it when my hair is combed, but man, I know its there. Don’t tell me to get used to being bald!

So, I have a big forehead and I don’t feel comfortable wearing my bangs up at any point of the day in less im at home with my family. I’m in cheerleading and other sports and I am forced to put my bangs up, but I am very self concious about the way I look and feel when there up. My friends always say to me, why don’t you ever wear your hair up or wear it different it’s always the same style.. Well i can’t put them up because I don’t like the way I feel with them up.. I really want to get like those hair implants on my forehead to make my hairline look farther down but I don’t know where to get it done and don’t have the money to afford it .. I have gone through being teased because of my forehead, I’ve been called names like five-finger forehead girl, or just comments when my hair is up .. I was thinking about it, and because my scalp is a bit oily and I have hairline acne, if using a cleanser on my hair would work, since the hair and scalp have the most oil near my face.

Have been placing topical solution on the fringe of frontal scalp, and i am seeing some fuzz — first in 8-years.

Ok so I’m 18 years old and i’ve been losing my hair since i was like 15. I go to College and I play Rhythm guitar and am lead vocalist in my band and i see alot of people. i have never seen anyone my age with as much hairloss as i have. My friends that have seriously asked me if i went on kemo since in less then a year my hairline has jumped a Full Inch and a half from a scar in the middle of my forehead where it used to be.

I realize i will bald early and that will be my life but come on i want to at least make it to 20. Anyway I’ve seen MDs and they just tell me its natural and i was perscribed Propecia when i was 16! Tragically a combo of Rogaine and Propecia did nothing for me and Propecia is far too expensive, 100 bucks a month ooo.

i have a really dry scalp and it itches badly if i try to wear hats, i shed hair like crazy.

Ive been using the Shampoo Nyzoral for months with no help with the scalp dryness so ive been rubbing olive oil on my head the past few nights. also ive tried Nioxin shampoos of all strength, lots of vitamins and this hair stuff called provillus that was bogus and a few other things.

if you read all this at all i really appreciate it. this is like a semi rant.

I had a decent wig the first time but the hairline in the front didn’t look real. I saw a comment saying the Joseph Paris MHP wig is not worth the money.

If I eat too much spinach, liver, or carrots, am I more susceptible to hair loss than the average person who doesn’t eat healthy stuff?

btw.. I love spinach and carrots, and it just so happens my hairline is receding.

My hair has been thinning out over the top of my head and the crown (the sides and lower rear of the head are fine), but my hairline hasn’t receded at all. It’s been going on since September of last year, and I’m not entirely sure of what the cause is.

My husband has alittle bald patch at front of hairline in 10 years he has lost about 10-15 hairs he is very concious of it.It doesn,t bother me at all.so if you have used it can you tell me if it works.
