I am a woman and have 2 very large bald spots on each side, at the front of my hair by my forehead. I would like these to be fixed…is there any surgery I can have or hair replacement? Thanks!
well its not so much a bald spot as extreme hair thinning. and it won’t grow back. this has been going on since I was about 10 yrs old and it keeps getting worse! I am not 21 and I want this problem fixed asap! it has significantly dampered my confidence and caused me hundreds, even thousands of dollars on hair products and extensions, etc. I just want to be able to wear my hair back in a pony tail like a normal girl without looking like I have 2 big holes in my head.

I am beginning 500-calorie, hormone replacement diet. I’ve been instructed not to use anything on my body (cosmetics, soaps, lotions, hair products, etc.) that contain oils or fats. How can I tell which items contain these ingredients?

I know it’s not a sexist procedure but it still weirds me out to see these metrosexual guys wanting cosmetic procedures done – - okay I get it that men can have maincures, pedicures, and massages, hair products too but come on now cosmetic surgery what’s next Dick implants!!

I need my man a little ruff around the edges these guys are getting too soft – boarder line fairies if you ask me…

I would like to know which products are the best for my hair for best results:

About my hair:
I am 19 and I have THICK Korean hair, but it’s been slightly thinning lately and I don’t know why. I usually use Pantene but I recently switched to a salon brand from Sally’s and I think it’s from that but I’m not sure because I heard Pantene thins your hair and makes it fall out. But anyways, I usually have THICK Asian hair, EXTREMELY coarse meaning frizziness beyond manageability, dull, VERY dry, feels like hay, and no shine. I rarely ever use heated styling tools, so rare that it can go into the never category. I always let it air dry after a shower because I hate blow dryers, they just create more frizz. In the past I have permed and dyed it but I have let it all grow out now so I have my natural thick, coarse, unruly hair.

Results I want:
I want a shampoo and conditioner that will give me soft, shiny, strong, manageable hair. I want my hair to be able to maintain the natural thickness before it started thinning or falling out, meaning having it restored back to its natural thickness. It also doesn’t hurt if the shampoo and conditioner smells great . If the products above are not the best, what brand of shampoo and conditioner are for the results I want. I would like something affordable and easy to find and buy. Think Wal-Mart.

Please help!
I don’t know if you caught it above but it was briefly mentioned, but a lot of my hair is falling out. I feel like I am losing more than the average person. I don’t know if it’s because of my shampoo or if I’m overanalyzing it.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried the Restoration hair products and if so did they work or are they just a crock.
www.restorationhair.com. Tell me what you think

I always feel self-conscious because of my extremely thin hair. I can’t even grow it past my shoulders. I am very careful to to pull them out, and I put jojoba oil in it two times per week. If I don’t wash it every other day, then it would look as it’s sticking to my scalp. Nobody in my family has thin hair except for my grandmother and dad.
If my hair’s always been thin, is it even possible to naturally grow it thicker? It seems like nothing’s working. Not even eating healthier food is helping.

Since I want to grow my hair thicker naturally, I do NOT want to dye it, highlight it, put a bunch of hair products to temporary make it look thicker, or get hair implants.
My hair isn’t long enough to braid…
as for the other answer, I’m not sure if I can find those ingredients even at Whole Foods.
Any more suggestions?

1.

I used to dye my hair alot, I stopped until on day I realized that I was going a bit bald on the sides of my hair. So I stopped dying it and let my hair stay natural for quite a while. And my hair is back to normal, but it still looks a little bald. I think its because all the hair products, and dyes that burned my follicles off. Is it possible to heal them, so I can have my hair back to normal?

2.

How can I style my hair, (emo like) without using much hair product?

I was thinking about using a full head toupee when I grow up just so I wont damage my hair in the future, and hair implants don’t look good, it makes your hair look ugly.

ps: no, I am not emo… …

3.

I was thinking about this hair washing routine.

Weekends: Right before the weekend beggins, I will wash my hair, and then I wont wash it on the weekends, on mondays and fridays, I will wash my hair with just Shampoo, thuesdays, and thursdays, I will just rinse my hair clean and not use shampoo, on wednesdays I will shampoo and condition. Would this be helpful?

I got this idea because Ive seen really dirty smelly people in the streets, and they almost always have thick nice hair. While hygienicnic people seem a little bald. So I don’t want to use much shampoo and conditioner, yet being hygienic about it.

Many boys at my class are super worse than me, I have perfect hair compared to them, especially when they spike their hair up. Its because of all that hair gel and crap they put on their hair. But I don’t want to end up like them. Oh.. I’m 14.

i am not bald, its just that my hair falls out too much…
which vitamins and hair products/treatments are recommended?

For the past 2 months or so my hair has been falling out. Each day when I just casually run my fingers through it, I get almost a full handfull of hair that just stays in my hand. I’ve never had this problem before; I don’t dye my hair, I don’t use any damaging hair products and the like, so I can’t figure out what can be causing this. I even changed my shampoo and conditioner and stopped using gel just in case, but that has not helped with the hair loss. I think I eat a pretty balanced diet, I don’t take any medicine, so I’m pretty much at a loss as to why my hair keeps falling out. I don’t take any vitamins, but I’m considering starting to take some in hopes of stopping the hair loss and generating new hair growth. I’m relatively young – in my early 20’s, so I know that it’s nothing attributed to age. Though I have had some stressors for the past few months -but I’m not sure if stress can cause such significant hair loss. I would really appreciate some advice regarding this.

I’m a latino female and when I wash my hair it comes out. Does anyone know of any hair products to treat this. I have long tight curly hair, and I need something for my type of hair. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!
