I am 31, have a lot of hair, no history of baldness.
My front hairline is intact, there is just his quarter size bald patch I never noticed before (about a half inch past my front hairline, at my part). No other signs of thinning. is this the begining of me going bald? How do i stave it off? is there a product I could use. How expen$ive would it be to have an implant in that area? I have longish (and a lot of it) hair, so you can’t really see it when my hair is combed, but man, I know its there. Don’t tell me to get used to being bald!

I have had hair replacement surgery: 6 months ago. I am prescribed to take finasteride/propecia for baldness by my hair replacement physician. However, I bought it online through an international pharmacy based at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories based in India. I looked them up on the Internet and it looks safe. (I read the Wikipedia article on the company) I notice that when I take the drug my hair looks thicker and fuller. I really hate to give it up.

I bought the 5 mg finasteride. However, I don’t take the full pill. I take very miniscule part of the tablet. I notice that after I take the drug, I have a very increased heart rate (really fast). I am little unsure if thinking about side effects of the drug makes me nervous.

I’ve taken the pill for weeks and nothing has happened, but wonder if it safe for me to continue to take this drug. Does anyone have any experiences about it?

Would you wear a wig,or use rougaine? How bout that hair implant surgery?Or would you just let it shine and accept your baldness?

I’d just be proud to be bald.

Hello, I am just over 30 and I am on my way to looking like George Costanza or Captian Picard i.e I am going bald. I have worn a hat for a long time to hide it, but it only helps a little. I am really self consious about my hair and it has a huge effect on my self confidience. I try to look for other examples of people who are sucessfull or respected as well as bald and they are few and far between. On television, almost everyone has nice hair and I constantly see comercials for the hair club or medical hair restoration. The commercials talk about baldness like it is a disease. How will I ever find the confidence to meet a woman and have a family, something I want very much, when I feel like I have a hair disease, or a physical flaw that makes me ugly? Please be honest in your responces.

This one, i saw it in Discovery Channel’s BEYOND TOMORROW program.

Can anyone tell me which is the company that offers such dupe hairs that can stick with the human skin and that looks like real hair without any difference.

The dupe hair just looks like a TOPA and when it comes in contact with the skin, it gets stuck without any adhesive. And to remove the stuff, we’ve to pour some other substance over it and automatically it gets peeled off.

The peeled off stuff is reusable…

Also please answer me with other dupe hair stuffs witgout adhesives which avoid sweating.

I have seen many people with baldness in the middle part of the head and have seen none having it on the sides. For some people[especially gents] baldness start at the topmost part of the head and for some it starts from the forehead.I am eagerly waiting for a good answer and hope you would give me one.

I’m 23 and getting a bigger forehead by the year. It’s frightening to say the least. I do not want a skullet. With all the medical advances, there has to be some method to prevent or cure baldness. Anybody know some natural remedies to cure it?

I am sure I have heard that wearing a hat all the time does not actually cause baldness and that it was just a myth, but my brother disagrees and thinks that it does.

Does anyone know where I can find factual info on whether or not this is true?

Can anyone who has actual experience suggest the effective treatment for hair regrowth and recover from baldness pl. Thanks.

I’ve heard that these days, baldness is optional. I’m 20 years old and am noticing the starting of baldness on my head. I wanna start combating it NOW, so I don’t lose my g/f, and if I do lose my g/f, then I don’t wanna be unsuccessful with women.

Any information on stuff that actually works – like the HairMax Laser Comb, Hair transplants, Rogaine, Propecia, etc?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if ethnicity affects baldness. Are certain ethnicities more or less prone to balding than others? If so, which onese go bald more/less frequently than others?

I have done some research and reading up on hair re-growth for men. There’s so much info. out there and I have no idea whether most are just hypes or facts. If you have used certain products and got good result, please post it here for me and everyone else, too. Baldness is no fun and no, I don’t want to be like Mike. I have tried those so called masking products like COURVRe, but they’re nothing but shoe polish on your head. My problem is at the crown. Thank you in advance.

Ok, so for the past few year or so , I seem to have lost a lots of hairs, and my hair have become really weak and rough. I get tiny pimples around the forehead and around the scalp. I don’t know how i got dandruff or when? and now its looks like dandruff is becoming the reason for my baldness around on both sides of my hair. My hair even gets oily just in 2 days, even though i don’t use any chemical spray or mousse. my hair are straight and i don’t even apply any sort of chemical, neither have i dyed them. I did try to use head and shoulders dandruff for sometime but that didn’t work out to well.

I really need help before there’s no hair left on my scalp.
Thank You

I’m eighteen years old, and as my facial hair grows, I’ve noticed that there are patches of baldness below my chin that the hair grows around. Why? Will hair ever grow there?

I’m 23 and very much scared of baldness. It’s really frightening when I see some bald people around. I have hair loss problem and don’t want to be bald. Is there any method which can effectively stop the hair loss?

Baldness is genetic (aside from stress & tearing your hair out) right? So why has this gene been present for generation after generation? What’s the plus side?

I have realy thin hair and ontop of that its blonde!!! It looks really bad because you can see my skull since its light. I have baldness as well, I was wondering if there’s anything I can do to fix it, rub any oil, or eat a specific diet??

What I mean by "paying money for the rest of my life" is that there are lots of hair growth treatments that PROBABLY work, but, even if they do work, I would have to pay for them the rest of my life, because they do not last forever. They are temporary. I could pay for surgery, and that would last forever, but it is extremely expensive. One place charges you ,000 for either a surgery or surgeries. I do not know if it takes more than one surgery to cure baldness forever.

Wouldnt the parents pass down the genes to prevent baldness?
Or acne?
or obesity?

Why does this happen if we are evolving through natural selection?

I’ve been using shampoos that are quite creamy to give moisture to your hair for a few months now. Then I realize that I’ve been having a sticky residue of the shampoo stuck on my hair that takes ages to wash off. And now, its causing hair loss and hence some baldness on my head. How do I solve this??

I am in Gurgaon and want to start treatment for Hair loss. Who is best, Dr Batra, Dr Bakson, Richfeel or AHR? Has anyone heard of AHR (Amazing Herbal Remedies). Its site is amazingherbalremedies.com They claim they can reverse the process of baldness to hairgrowing. but treatment cost 3000/- per month.
Can anyone suggest who is best out of above 4 or anyone else? How about Richfeel?
I read somewhere that Homeopathy doesnt have any solution for baldness or hairfall so very skeptical of Dr. Batra and Dr. Bakson. Also, i havnt heard good reviews of Dr. Batra. They also claim that they CANT give new growth of hair but can just control hair fall.
Please help me guiding quickly guys.
