I am a woman and have 2 very large bald spots on each side, at the front of my hair by my forehead. I would like these to be fixed…is there any surgery I can have or hair replacement? Thanks!
well its not so much a bald spot as extreme hair thinning. and it won’t grow back. this has been going on since I was about 10 yrs old and it keeps getting worse! I am not 21 and I want this problem fixed asap! it has significantly dampered my confidence and caused me hundreds, even thousands of dollars on hair products and extensions, etc. I just want to be able to wear my hair back in a pony tail like a normal girl without looking like I have 2 big holes in my head.

In December 2010, scientists at the Berlin Technical University in Germany revealed they have grown the world’s first artificial hair follicles from stem cells. Research leader Dr Roland Lauster said within five years millions of hair-loss sufferers could grow new hair from their own stem cells and have it implanted into their bald spots. He also announced that preparations for clinical trials were "already in motion

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

I am looking for someone with maybe some grooming experience or someone that is familiar with the product I am talking about.

My poor Pomeranian’s coat has been completely compromised by a too short buzz cut resulting in what I have heard refered to as "clip alopecia". Basically, his whole mid section has nothing but VERY short, frizzy fur and numerous bald spots. His coat is not growing back. It has been over a year now and this is as good as its going to get for him at this point.

I have been trying to find out if there is any way of reversing the damage and possibly get his coat to grow back even if it never gets as beautiful as it was prior to the clipping incident. In my searching I came across something called Megatek by Eqyss. I have never seen this before or heard of it prior to now but from what I am reading, it seems to be a fairly successful product used for coat restoration and rebuilding in animals. Supposedly it stimulates hair regrowth and works well on bald spots and all that. My question is, has anyone ever tried this on their dog and does it really work? And could this possibly work to help reverse the damage from the bad hair cut for my Pom or would it not work for a problem of this nature?

Thanks in advance!

Ok so I am turning 20 August 17th. There’s one thing that I have always been wanting to get and feel that once I have gotten it I would feel so much better about myself and that is a breast augmentation. However I cannot afford one. I am a student helping my mom at home with my baby sister and the family. I can’t get a job because no one will hire me so it’s hard to obtain certain things. I would love a car as well but that I just have to work on getting myself. The second thing is to get my mother hair restoration. She is beautiful and when she was 3 she had a terrible accident and has 2 small bald spots that hair doesn’t grow at. We have spoken to doctors and everything but again we just cannot afford it. So I need information on how to get on the Oprah Winfrey show and ask her for these two things. I have gone through her site and everything but it’s just hard to get a response. I would love to know if there’s a mailing address to her or email or something. I been waiting for too long and I hope this get’s me the answers I need. Thank you for reading and if you can help me, please list some information for me.

Okay in July I colored my hair blond did it myself. And it looked horrible! I went into a salon and had a color correction done. Ever since then my hair has been breaking off. Not HUGE clumps. You can’t look at my head of hair and notice any bald spots or anything. I went to the beauty salon about 2 weeks ago now and got about 2inches cut off the length and got tons of layers in my hair. The Stylist said my hair wasn’t damaged. (I was going to chop it off to my chin) She said keeping my hair up in a tight ponytail (which I do) is probably the problem. Which I know isn’t 100% true in my situation b/c my hair has only started breaking off this bad since my color incident. I bought some Pantene Restoration (i think is the name) shampoo/conditioner and hair mask. And gave myself a couple deep condition treatments. My hair still breaks off maybe not as much. Okay…I noticed today that my hair is just still coming out a lot!!! Not from the root or anything. I hot rolled my hair 2 days ago and all day yesterday had my hair up on my head in like a ball just to keep it out of my way. I think using all the hair spray and keeping it in a wad on my head caused the extra breakage..I know stupid on my behalf. What should I do?? Should I cut it all off to about my chin?? Is there anyway to keep my long locs and restore the health to my hair????
Any advice would be beneficial.

Btw…my hair length hits the bottom of my bra strap. And I have short to med. layers throughout hair
One more question. Has anyone had their hair over processed like mine and their hair break off this much? Like I said it’s not clumps of hair..but enough to drive me crazy! Thanks!!!

Hair loss?

I don’t have any bald spots or anything but I’ve been losing a LOT of hair lately, probably from combination stress and thyroid disease. I’ve just noticed that it falls out in massive proportions and it’s thinned out quite a bit. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good hair restoration products that really work. Please let me know of your experiences and recommendations. All answers are greatly appreciated.

my hair has drastically thinned over the past year..probably a little more than a year. it grows just fine..3-5 inches past my shoulder. i don’t have any bald spots..it’s just a lot thinner than it should be..which makes it hard to style..should i consider a hair implant/transplant?

I’m only 27 and I’m female, and my hair is falling out at an alarming rate. I’m not bald nor do I have any bald spots yet, but it’s thin in front. Are there any natural remedies to help with hair loss. I would rather not take non natural medicines, or have any hair replacement procedures. Please don’t suggest a wig either. I’m sure the loss is due to stress, and I’ve tried to eliminate as much stress as possible, but some things just cant be helped. I also know that it’s normal to lose some hair, but this isn’t. Its everywhere. Even when I vacuum, I’m constantly finding hair, when I wash my hair, large groups of strands come out wrapped around my hands, I get the clothes out of the dryer and my hair is stuck to them. My hair is all over the bed, the cover-everywhere

Hello,

I am 28 years old man. I have been loosing hair for the past 3 years and have been trying various things in the market such as Provillus, Rogaine and etc with little help. I have heard from my aunt to apply aloe vera to hair and it can regrow the hair back or at least stop the hair loss. I bought an aloe vera leaf from an organic store and was planning to crush and apply it every night and wash it off in the morning.

I would like to know if addition of oils such as jojoba, rosemary, tea tree or etc to the aloe vera gel help in combating hair loss? If yes then how much of it should I mix with the aloe vera? Please advice.

P.S :- I have very thin hair with visible bald spots and my hair is oily.

Thanks.

How come people keep saying that Bret wears a bandana because he doesn’t want to show his bald spots? In the episode of Rock Of Love 2, when the parents came to visit his bandana was off and he had a sexy, full head of hair. Did he say he was balding in the 1st ROL (I didn’t watch it)? Because he sure doesn"t look like he is to me…

I was born with very fine, thin hair unfortunately. Now that I’m older it really bothers me.Since I never had thick hair does this mean I was born without hair follicles? I have bald spots and I am very self conscious about my hair. In the near future once i’m out of college I am looking into hair implants or other solutions…can anyone give me any tips or advice on what to do? I have tried many products and different syling techniques and nothing seems to work, i want permanent solutions!

i’m 31 years old and have 3 good sized bald spots on my head, and the rest of it is very thin. my ponytail now is the size of one of my pigtails 10 years ago. i was tested and was found to have a significant vitamin d deficiency. where levels are generally 50-80, mine is 17. i am taking 50,000 units twice a week as prescribed by my doctor and will be tested again in a few months. my question is this: once my vitamin d is balanced out, will the hair grow back?

I’m only 20 and I’ve noticed that my hair is thinner than usual. I don’t have bald spots and it’s not just in one place. I notice when I take a shower a lot of hair falls out. Does anyone know if I’m not getting enough of a certain vitamin or mineral?

I am 22 yrs old. I have bald spots and its getting worser and worser. I was wondering is there anything I can use to regrow hair and top this hair loss. Someone told me if get an aloe plant and use its gel. That would help but i am not sure. Any serious ideas would be greatly apperciated. Thanks in advance

Rogaine treats the back where bald spots pop up.

I am a 19 year old female and have been a vegan for 9 years. I started losing hair about a year ago and my once thick hair is so thin now that i have bald spots practically all over my head. The hair has been falling out evenly amongst my whole head. What am I missing that can cause this? zinc? B12? Protein? What deficiency can be causing my hair loss?
I’m not going to stop being a vegan so don’t try to convert me. I’m concerned about my hair and my health but I wont harm another creature for my benefit. There are always vegan alternatives, I am just curious as to what I might not be getting enough of.

This is for my English paper, in which I am comparing old and modern techniques people used to treat cosmetic issues.

I heard women back then (like in the 1970s) used wigs and color hair spray to conceal bald spots, but I NEED AN ONLINE SOURCE to cite.

Thanks in advance!
