there are a few things that can ruin it depending on products, like if your using a bunch of protein enriched products. too much protein can lead to breakage in the end. and even if it isn’t, too much conditioner isn’t always a great thing. especially if you have finer hair, too much can weigh it down.

If you are using heat to help the conditioners penetrate, anything over 10 minutes is unnecessary! If no heat is being used then you can go up to 45 minutes. You also have to determine why your hair is dry/dull before you start loading on all the conditioners! (do u drink enough water??? use 2 many chemicals???? use 2 much heat???? lack of vitamins?????) And do not make that a frequent habit because you CAN over condition you hair, which makes it too soft & extremely limp.
