It isnt unusual to get hair coming out when you shower, so try not to worry too much, but there are some things that might help.
Firstly, gently brush your hair before you shower, it helps reduce the amount of hair that comes out.
Then, when you have conditioner in your hair in the shower, use a wide-tooth comb and comb through – dont tug, again be gentle. A lot of hair will come out at this point, but dont worry too much. Less hair will come out when it is detangled, so i find this really useful.
Try using a thickening shampoo and conditioner as well, a reasonably good one – with hair i really find that the more you spend, the better the results. I find the kerastase range absolutely fantastic – they do a specifique range that has products to prevent hairloss, so that might be worth trying. You can get it at hqhair.com. It is expensive, but lasts forever and is brilliant.
Finally, visit a healthfood type place (holland and barrett etc), or even a large boots, and there are supplements that are specifically designed to strengthen hair and nails. I have heard really good things about them.
I really hope this helps, and try not to worry.
wow that sucs to be you. only 15 huh…… ummm go to a doctor or somthing.
well if u get ur hair permed or died than u need to stop. u can also try pantien shampoo(sleek and shine)
the same thing happened to me – if you had a high temperature 3 months ago then it’s you’ve got telogen effluvian and it will stop soon. If not, go see a doctor asap xx
Wash your hair with olive oil once a week. It will help your hair growth and you will get thicker hair.
Hi
yea I suggest you try buying hair products that are made of natural herbs and essence, indtead of buying and using chemical shampoos and conditionars, see I have thick hair as you see in the pic and I buy a special shampoo from india that has no chemicals inside the shampoo
as gross as it may sound, you lose about 100 hairs a day "just because".
so its normal. but if you’re really worried about it, bye a hair strengthening shampoo and conditioner.
also, your hair just mite be brittle if u curl or straighten your hair every day, so stop that and maybe try to do it only once every 2 weeks. or so.
<3 xoxox
vitamin deficiency maybe…..or you are dying your hair too much. Get vitamins mainly B12….good luck
I don’t think it has anything to do with the shampoo. A lot of people do lose a lot of hair in the shower, I’m not sure how much you consider a lot, but if you think it’s excessive, than you should go to a doctor & tell him/her about it. Maybe you have a hormonal imbalance or a thyroid problem or something else, or nothing at all. Ease your mind & get it checked out.
I have the same problem; I think some people just have a natural tendency to lose hair (or the roots might be weak). Every time I shower and comb my hair, a handful always comes out. There are a few things you can do:
-When you shampoo, be sure to MASSAGE, not scratch or scrub your scalp. Use the soft parts of your fingertips, not your nails.
-Wear your hair down more often; putting it in ponytails, buns, or any updo weakens the roots
-Don’t style it as often. Blow-drying, curling, and straightening it is actually very bad for it.
-Take a biotin supplement. Ever since I did, my hair has been stronger and prettier. But sometimes taking it will make you woozy so take it before bed at night.
-Massage your scalp every so often just to stimulate the glands up there and make your hair stronger.
These are just simple things that I’ve started doing and they work great! Hope this helps!
use a herbal shampoo and conditioner, try to avoid oily and fried food, eat lots of veg and fruit and drink 8 to 12 glasses of water. have a look at this website http://www.neetasherbal.com. very helpfull
Only a doctor is qualified to tell you what steps you should take. Hair loss could be a sign of a serious health problem (especially considering that you are so young), so speak to your doctor as soon as possible.
Don’t waste your time on olive oil or other remedies. All this can do is make your hair shinier.
you need to sort out your diet.
go to a gym
drink 10-15 glasses of water daily
eat lots of vegetables and fruit
cut down on salt as well as junk food
Please go to the doctor because you may be a problem.
It’s not normal for someone of you age to have hair falling out.Are you under stress?I don’t know what shampoo you use as you didn’t say.If i were you i would be rightly concerned,go see your doctor,it might be something worth investigating.
You loose at least 100 hairs a day!! so theres nothing wrong with you, if you are seriously worried ask a parent or carer and show them how much you loose and they most likely are to re-assure you that this is only natural!!
