I haven’t had them, but I recently heard about a new procedure that transplants your hair strands to replace your eyelashes. Apparently you’ll need to constantly trim them as they will grow the same way that the hair on your head does. So if you have curly hair on your head, that’s how your eyelashes will be. If you have straight hair on your head, that’s how your eyelashes will be. If the hair on your head is turning gray, then your eyelashes may possibly turn gray as well.

Apparently there is the risk of transplant rejection, and of course the risk of infection. And honestly, the pics that they showed on the news program I saw, the eyelashes didn’t look very good.

Also, after my mom’s chemo, her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes all grew in just as they were before.

If you really want, I would recommend the temporary falsh eyelashes that are individually glued on and last for 2-3 months. They can be expensive, but if it makes you feel better in the interim then go for it.
