My grandmothers hair is falling out, she microwaves all her food, she is 89.
Edit. It gets worse, she now tells me she has lost her teeth.

now somebody suggested if i become bald and i use 3-4 times blade on the head and start massage of oil to scalp i ll have new strong hairs and hair loss problem can be resolved what to do kindly suggest………

heard alot about nourkrin..and some other sutff…and evne natural stuff like oils…what actually works…i know there is something that works as my aunt used something to get her hair to grow back..[dunno what]

Dear all cat experts at Yahoo!Answers : One of my cats had a vaccination against rabbies (5weeks ago) and then a blood test (a few days ago). (To be able to travel within the EU with the pet passport for holidays.)

A couple of days after the blood, test a bald patch appeared on the right size of his neck, under the jaw line. I thought it might be where the veterinary took the sample.

But know the dime sized bald patch has increased to an area 2 inches in diameter. It is not red, does not look infected.
The cat doesn’t scratch it, eats, sleeps and plays normally.

I’ve removed his collar when I noticed the patch but I’m positive it wasn’t there 2 days ago.

I’m worried and i’m taking him back to the vet today. Any views advice helpful too. Thanks.

I’m only 17, but my hair is thinning. I’ve been told this by 2 different hairdressers. Also, hair has stopped growing at both sides of the corner of my fringe.

i was looking online for different types of hair loss/thinning treatments for women for my mother. her hair has become quite thin in the front and it bothers her terribly. she has tried a small hair piece, not a cheap one either, but various hair dressers could never blend it quite right with the rest of her hair.

i stumbled across the website "iwanthair.com" and was interested in the REALLUSIONS treatment but i can’t seem to find any info on how much something like that would cost. i know it won’t be cheap but the nearest location for my mother to receive a consultation visit is roughly 2 hours away. i would just like to know if this treatment would be a feasible option for my mother cost wise before visiting the clinic for a consultation.

if anyone knows of approximate costs of this treatment and/or has had experience with it, i would greatly appreciate your feedback.

I haven’t had a period for about 6 months now, and before that my last period was 4 months. I have also experienced hair loss, when i run my hands through my hair clumps of hair comes out, and my hair is all over my clothes. I was wondering if there was a link between the two, and if it’s anything to worry about?

I have lots of friends with bald dads and with them being only 15-16 year old can already see that baldness is striking them. Whether it being a receeding hairline or thinning or even both! 1 m8 is only 15 and already is developing a noticable bald patch at his crown with a really bad M shaped hairline. Another is really thin and a far back hairline. you see these two had straight hairlines about 1-2 years ago so what age does baldness start?

for about 4 months now alot more hair have been falling out i thought it was because i straightened my hair every day but i havent straightened it or 6 weeks now and its still falling out my mum said its just natural i can see short hairs but i dont no it thats new hair or where my hair has broken. when i comb my hair i loss like 30 hairs and in the shower about 20 i want it to stop its annoying having hair all over my clothes im think about getting a hair mask deep conditioner will that make a difference?

Just recently I started to notice significant hair loss. I used to have a mass of bushy, long hair only about a month ago, and now I’ve got no idea where half of it went! It only worries me more because I’m not yet an adult and I want my hair back
P.S. I wash my hair once a fortnight because it’s so long it takes about 2 hours with conditioner…but it has never affected the way my hair looks etc.
I don’t think I had any stress, in fact I’m generally quite happy and an optimist! =) lol
Thanks for the answers everyone, just one last thing: I have NEVER – dyed, crimped, straightened, curled, blow-dried my hair IN MY LIFE! Which makes it even more weird! Arrgh
